WEBECO Hygiene in Medicine and Laboratory
WEBECO is a synonym for sterilisation at a high level - ensuring safety, reliability and stability of value for clients and users. The product range encompasses steam sterilizers from table-tops to medium sized units of the Series EC (4 - 8 STU) and upwards to the large units of the Series ECS (9 - 18 STU), as well as the low-temperature-LTSF-sterilizers of the FA95 series. These low temperature sterilizers are especially suited for the sterilisation of heat sensitive products like flexible endoscopes. All sterilizers can be interconnected and coupled with cleaning-/disinfection machines in a network whereby the machine processes and the path of the sterile goods are being documented to be traced back at any later time.
With 11 service points in Germany WEBECO is everywhere near the customer and can be called via hotline any time.
WEBECO supports the customer during planning and projecting of plants for the reprocessing of instruments including sterilisation. Intensive consultation and careful preparation ensure timely shipment and installation at the customer’s site.
Since the year 2000 WEBECO is member of the international MATACHANA Group who is represented in more than 60 countries with own subsidiaries and representations.
WEBECO was founded in 1948 by Fritz Webecke and is well known in Germany and abroad for its quality products. Location is Bad Schwartau near Lübeck at the Baltic Sea.

WEBECO steam sterilizers for the laboratory

WEBECO offers a range of steam sterilizers for laboratories in the medical, experimental and industria segments, with these main attributes:

FA95 LTSF-Sterilizer

Since more than 20 years the WEBECO formaldehyde-low-temperature-sterilizer is operational in clinics, hospitals and surgical practices. Now the new FA95 is available with a further perfected sterilisation process and technology. A number of innovations such as a central access to all consumptional components and the newly designed display make usage even easier. Techniques, performance, and checks are compatible with the new euronorm EN 14180 (Low-Temperature-Steam-and-Formaldeyhde-Sterilizers) in all respects. The further optimized WEBECO-LTSF-sterilization-process in the FA95 realizes the overkill-method thus ensuring sterilisation success in extremely difficult products (with hollow passages, gaps, bores). Standard sterilisation temperature is 60 °C, an optional 78 °C program reduces cycle time to under 2 hours.

Series EC large steam sterilizers

The WEBECO series EC of large steam sterilizers feature 3 chamber sizes (4, 6, 8 STU), one or two doors, with integrated steam generation or connection to externally supplied steam. Each model is equipped with 4 sterilisation programs at 134 °C and one at 121 °C. Special programs are possible. Advantageous are the very compact sizes, the silent aquajet-vacuumpump, and the valuable double-wall chamber construction for excellent process heat control. The sterilizers conform in every respect to the european standard EN 285. An extensive options and accessories package makes the series EC the ideal candidate for the medium sized CSSD or sterile goods supply center.

Series ECS large steam sterilizers

The WEBECO series ECS of large steam sterilizers feature 3 chamber sizes (9, 12, 18 STU), one or two doors, drive-trough or pedestal verson, and connection to externally supplied steam. Each model is equipped with 4 sterilisation programs at 134 °C and one at 121 °C. Special programs are possible. Advantageous are the very compact sizes and the valuable double-wall chamber construction for excellent process heat control. The sterilizers conform in every respect to the european standard EN 285. An extensive options and accessories package makes the series ECS the ideal candidate for the large sized CSSD or sterile goods supply center.

WEBECO Steam Table Top Sterilizers

The WEBECO steam table top sterilizers are capable to sterilize all common products in the practice, including textiles. The process of type B according to euronorm EN 13060 has been incorporated in all sterilizer types. The sterilization process steps through several fractionated prevacuum cycles, then holds at 134 °C (for 5 minutes) resp. 121 °C (for 15 minutes) and a vacuum drying phase with a duration between 1 and 15 minutes depending on the program selected. All sterilizers are very fast due to a special steam injection technique and thus offer short cycle times supporting the practice routine.
Different chamber sizes are being offered to accommodate different load volumes:
7 liters in the A30-B, depth 32 cm
20 liters in the A35-B, depth 35 cm
30 liters in the A50-B, depth 50 cm
The equipment is expandable on request by a fully automated water supply and disposal system (contains the production of demineralized water for generating steam), a batch data printer, and a batch documentation computer program. Besides this there are cassettes, containers, indicator sets, and a water destiller.

WEBECO laboratory steam sterilizers

WEBECO offers two volume classes of steam sterilizers for the laboratory:
Series S1000:
- 4 chamber sizes from 445 to 892 liters volume
- chamber cross-section 670 x 670 mm
Series S2000:
- 4 chamber sizes from 1053 to 4656 liters volume
- chamber cross-section 700 resp. 900 x 1440 mm
- floor-level loading (drive-in/through)) or pedestal version
Both series have these attributes in common:
- horizontal loading
- one or two door versions
- programs for solid or liquid products in the temperature range between 105 °C and 134 °C
- down cooling components and processes
- integrated steam generator or extrenal steam supply
- industrial process control
- batch documentation, remote diagnosis (optional)

Consultation - Planning - Installation

Based on the accumulated experience over decades and its product range WEBECO is capable of planning and installing complete central sterilisation departments. Primary goal is to create an installation which allows our customers to supply their clients in the most efficient and trouble-free manner with sterile goods. Prerequisites are a well planned organisation, flawless machines requiring little maintenance, and a computerbased documentation and logistic. In principle one can generalize the requirements for the central sterile supplies department. However, since there is a necesssary adaptation of system modules to the individual conditions it is reasonable to contact WEBECO in an early stage to clarify requirements exactly.
