About us
Based in Arles, UNITAIR was founded in 1995 by Gérard Barachini, after more than thirty years as a specialist in air conditionning, especially in the medical field, with the design and construction of mobile operating theatres designed for the export market.
The quality and proven performance of its products have enabled UNITAIR to expand rapidly, gaining widespread notoriety in our customers’ fields. Today, with a fast expansion of its turn-over it directly imploys a staff of 30.
The company’s principal activity is the design and manufacture of top-of-the-range air conditioners,
to suit the most specificand complex needs of the medical (Stéribloc) and industrial (ASP) fields.
Coupled up with apparatus for diffusing the treated air, by dilution or by collecting (laminar flow ceilings also designed and built by UNITAIR), these air treatment units make it possible to guarantee the contamination classifications required by the various rules and regulations applicable (BPF, ISO 14644, NFS 90-351, ISO 14698 presently being validated etc…)
