Savyon has established an excellent network of distributors throughout the world, giving us marketing and sales outlets in every Continent and virtually every country of the world. Our product lines can be categorized according to areas of disease diagnosis:

Infectious diseases diagnostics:

1. Sexually Transmitted Diseases (e.g. Chlamydia trachomatis)
2. Respiratory tract infections (e.g. Chlamydia pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Bordetella Pertussis)
3. Urinary Tract Infections (e.g., URISCREEN)
4. Rapid Tests (e.g., HIV)

5. Parasitology
The tests are based on various immunological techniques (ELISA, MIF, IPA, rapid single tests). Savyon holds several patents related to these products.

Savyon is accredited with the highest international quality standards of research, development and manufacture, including EN46001 and ISO 9001. The company’s products are all CE certified. Products sold in the USA have received approval by the FDA.

SeroCP™ is an ELISA based test for specific and sensitive qualitative detection of Chlamydia pneumoniae IgM, IgG and IgA antibodies. The assay uses purified elementary bodies of C.pneumoniae (TWAR-183) as antigens to detect the antibody response. SeroCP™ is the perfect screening tool for the detection of C.pneumoniae antibodies in human serum.

SeroCP Quant

SeroCP Quant is a 2nd generation assay for the semi-quantitative determination of Chlamydia pneumoniae IgG and IgA antibodies. The assay utilizes 3 calibrators – P10, P50 and P100 – that are included in the kit, to create a standard curve. By using the standard curve, samples’ absorbance value in O.D are interpreted to concentration in BU/ml unit. The interpolated BU/ml units can be converted into SeroFIA™ - MIF end point titer, by using the package insert conversion table. The assay protocol and use of standard curve enables defining the kinetics of IgG and IgA antibodies in paired sera thus leading to improved diagnostic value.

SeroFIA™

The SeroFIA™ Chlamydia product line consists of IgG, IgM and IgA specific immunofluorescent assays (MIF) for the determination of antibodies to Chlamydia pneumoniae, Chlamydia trachomatis and Chlamydia psittaci in human serum.
The user-friendly SeroFIA™ Chlamydia slides contain, for each of the three Chlamydia species, one row of seven antigen-coated wells which makes species identification convenient and rapid.
The performance of the SeroFIA™ Chlamydia is in excellent agreement with both commercial and in house conventional MIF test results. SeroFIA™ Chlamydia kits contain 15 slides, each with 7 wells per specie.
The SeroFIA™ slides can be custom made and contain antigens for one chlamydia specie only.

SeroMP™

Mycoplasma pneumoniae (MP) accounts for 20-40% of pneumoniae cases among children and young adults, with predominance in school age. Infections can be found in any season, although epidemics, in temperate countries, usually occur during autumn and early winter. The very slow growth rate of the bacteria makes culture unsuitable for routine diagnostic work.
Today, most of the clinical diagnosis is based on serology.

SeroMP™ is a solid phase ELISA procedure, performed in a microtiter plate, for semi-quantitative determination of mycoplasma pneumoniae IgM, IgA and IgG antibodies. A complete antibodies profile allows for better diagnosis and treatment.
