Armbänder / Identifikationsarmbänder

Die SATO-Patientenarmbänder zeichnen sich durch einen besonders hohen Tragekomfort aus. Sie sind äußerst langlebig und durch eine speziell beschichtete Oberfläche vor Verschmutzung und Wasser geschützt. Daher bleibt der Barcode selbst dann lesbar, wenn der Patient das Armband beim täglichen Waschen oder Baden anbehält. Sie halten selbst extremen Umgebungsbedingungen stand, ohne dass sich die Druckqualität verschlechtert oder das Material Schaden nimmt. Selbstverständlich sind undere Patientenarmbänder Latexfrei. Und was am Wichtigsten ist: Durch den gestochen scharfen Druck können medizinische Fehlbehandlungen vermieden werden, die aufgrund von Irrtümern durch handgeschriebenen Zettel auftreten.

Katholische Hospitalvereinigung Weser – Egge wählt SATO Patientenarmbänder für Identifikationslösung

Hirschhorn, 12. November 2007 +++ SATO, Weltmarktführer für Etiketten- und Barcode-Drucker und Spezialist für Data Collection Systems und RFID-Labeltechnologie, liefert seine Patientenarmbänder nun auch an die Katholischen Krankenhäuser in Höxter, Steinheim, Bad Driburg und Brakel. Die Krankenhäuser gehören zur Katholischen Hospitalvereinigung Weser – Egge gGmbH. Als Holding ist sie mit ihren Krankenhäusern und Pflegeinrichtungen einer der führenden Gesundheitsanbieter in Ostwestfalen. Installiert wurde die umfassende Patientenidentifikationslösung, zu der auch sechzehn SATO CT410 Barcode-Drucker gehören, von der medilox GmbH aus Korschenbroich, einem Beratungsunternehmen und IT-Dienstleister, der sich auf die Themen Arzneimittel-therapie- und Patientensicherheit spezialisiert hat. Die SATO Patientenarmbänder bestehen aus hypoallergenem Kunststoff und haben ein Beschriftungsfeld, das mit Barcode und Fallnummer sowie Patientenname und Geburtsdatum bedruckt wird. Die aus nicht dehnbarem Material gefertigten SATO Patientenarmbänder sind zudem mit einem Sicherheitsverschluss versehen, der nicht zerstörungsfrei geöffnet werden kann. Dadurch wird der Austausch der Armbänder sicher verhindert. In Höxter werden zusätzlich auch Neugeborene und Kleinkinder mit einem speziellen Neugeborenenband vor Verwechselungen geschützt. Angelegt werden die Patientenarmbänder direkt an der Aufnahmestelle: In der Patientenaufnahme, an der Pforte, in der Notaufnahme oder – bei Liegendaufnahmen und auf der Wochenstation – im Pflegebereich. Durch die maschinenlesbaren SATO Patientenarmbänder haben die Krankenhäuser der Katholischen Hospitalvereinigung Weser – Egge gGmbH eine sehr hohe Behandlungs- und Medikationssicherheit erzielt und eine zuverlässige Verbindung zwischen Verordnung, Maßnahme und Empfänger geschaffen, ganz gleich ob der Patient ansprechbar ist oder nicht. Alle an der Behandlung beteiligten Mitarbeiter können heute die aufgenommenen Patienten während ihres gesamten Klinikaufenthalts jederzeit und an jedem Ort sicher identifizieren.

Die SATO Patientenarmbänder verbinden Haltbarkeit, Sicherheit und Komfort, sind schmal und sehr angenehm zu tragen. Günter Riese, Katholische Hospitalvereinigung Weser – Egge gGmbH, äußert sich zufrieden: „Wir waren nicht sicher, ob alle Patienten das Patientenarmband akzeptieren würden und sind sehr positiv überrascht. RFID

Im Bereich RFID ist SATO Technologieführer und bietet neben Lösungen für Handel und Logistk auch intelligente Lösungen für den Gesundheitsbereich an. Auch eine integrale Lösung zur automatischen Erfassung und Verfolgung im Medizinbereich mit antibakteriell beschichteten Labeldruckern und automatisch lesbaren Patientenarmbändern gehört zum SATO Leistungsspektrum ebenso wie die Temperaturüberwachung von Blutkonserven mittels RFID-Chip. Damit gekühlte Blutkonserven, die im OP zwar einige Zeit bereitgelegen haben, aber prinzipiell noch verwendbar wären, nicht jedes Mal entsorgt werden müssen, zeichnet ein an der Blutkonserve angebrachter RFID-Chip mit Messeinheit den Temperaturverlauf des Blutbeutels auf. So muss man nach einer OP nur noch die Konserven entsorgen, die tatsächlich zu lange einer kritisch hohen Temperatur ausgesetzt waren. Die wertvollen Blutkonserven sind damit nach der OP nicht verloren, sondern bleiben verwendbar und stehen anderen OPs wieder zur Verfügung.

CT4xx

The CT series consists of 203dpi and 305dpi print resolution and with a choice of thermal transfer to the direct thermal printer. The modern design with pastel colour chassis suits offices, reception counters, and hospitals. This small footprint printer is perfect for tight and crammed spots, allowing you to save much space on the desktops or counters. The latest RISC processor also guarantees high throughput speed which is perfect for large graphic data. The standard interface for the CT series is IEEE1284 but optional interfaces such as LAN, 802.11b Wireless LAN, USB or the high speed RS-232C (up to 57.6Kbps) are available. Designed to provide convenience, the CT printer has a unique mechanism which caters for easy loading of ribbon and labels.

GL4xxe

The GL4xxe provides the most affordable printing solution at the ideal cost-value combination for low- to medium-duty manufacturing, supply-chain and retail barcode and RFID applications: an industry-leading printer management utility, SATOnet Connect™; communication flexibility with RS232C serial, IEEE1284 high-speed parallel and USB 2.0 as standard interfaces and 802.11g Wireless LAN and LAN as options; an “automatic detection system” to conveniently switch between 203(GL408e) and 305dpi (GL412e) print resolution; an Online Data Verifier, which guarantees barcode scannability. The GL4e Series is SATO’s most significant release of printing technology to date. Versatility and value are the cornerstones of the GL4e Series with features that surpass the competition.

HT200e

he new HT200e, 2″ thermal standalone printer, is designed to meet your printing needs. With end-users in mind, this printer is easy to use with its preset formats, a large LCD screen for easy reading, automatic calculation and provides touch-of-a-button printing. The HT200e comes with enough memory to store 300 presets for Key ‘N’ Print operation. Need more storage for your custom presets? Just add an external SRAM memory card that instantly lets you store an additional 1000 presets or 2000 presets (1MB card or 2MB card respectively).

AC operation is a standard feature, but with the battery option installed, you can carry the printer out to the field for quick and easy price label printing in supermarkets and other premises. An optional barcode scanner can also be connected with the new HT200e to offer greater convenience. A label design application is also offer to you for online printing thru RS232c interface.

M-10e

The M-10e, 10.5″ printer (direct & thermal transfer), has been designed for big label printing, making it perfect for industries such as chemical drums, timber, automotive, etc. With a fast RISC processor, it results in the highest quality print at an amazing speed of up to 125mm per second!

In addition, the M-10e also comes with many optional accessories such as real time clock, un-winder, cutter, dispenser and memory expansion so that you are able to select what best match your needs. Label loading is also made easy with the auto label loading function: just install the label edge into the printer and the label is “fed” via sensor detector.

This remarkable 10.5″ printer also allows you to print rows of labels as it is able to print horizontally based on the A3 label size. M84PRO

The new M84PRO is the latest printer in the PRO series, for your demanding industrial needs. Known for its durability, the M84PRO is an upgraded version of the M-8400RVe and is a new generation of high-resolution printers that print images with a resolution of up to 609 dots per inch (dpi). The 305 dpi version is also an excellent replacement for the M-8450 with its higher throughput speed.

M84PRO also features an “automatic detection system” that will help you to identify which printhead is being installed in the printer, which in turn, helps to accomplish print resolution selection easily: 203 dpi, 305 dpi or 609 dpi. It also has the ability to easily and efficiently produce labels directly from software such as Word, Excel and Access and also from the label design software Label Gallery.

MB400

The MB400, 4″direct thermal mobile printer, is designed for everyone in mind. Weighing 960g (with battery), you can carry it wherever you go. Simply clip it onto your belt (belt clip provided for) or sling it across your shoulders using the rugged shoulder belt that protects the entire printer from harsh rain and other weather conditions.
With “simplicity” in mind, we have even designed for simple label loading: simply open up the loading compartment and slot in the label roll. In addition, the MB series also offers 2-colour printing. The built-in support for RS-232Cand IrDA lets you control the printer through a wired connection and optional interface likes Bluetooth and 802.11b Wireless LAN enable wireless printing with mobile wireless devices such as PDAs or handy terminals. Small Rewinder R200
