Radim is an italian manufacturer of fully integrated in-vitro immuno-diagnostic systems, operating in the domestic and international market for over twenty years.

The Company is made up of 230 people working into two main facilities: Radim, located in the industrial area of south Rome, whose core activity is research development and production of immunodiagnostics kits; Seac, located near Florence, is focused on research, design and production of automated instruments for Laboratory tests.

Two Subsidiaries sited in Spain and Brazil, operate as reference centers for the South American markets and a global network of distributors in over 50 Countries ensures worldwide sales and service. Delta can operate in the following modes: random, batch, profile, continuos access, STAT.
Tests are based on immunoprecipitation and immunoagglutination reactions, latex amplification with fixed-time and end-point measurement. The Nephelometric technique allows high sensitivity with low Variation Coefficients, and provides an antigen excess checking function. Delta Nephelometer guarantees fast, accurate and reliable results in dosing the analytes

The SAMPLE RACK is a rotating plate with four removable sectors supporting 20 vials each, which can fit both primary tubes (12-16 mm) as well as pediatric adapters. The pre-dilution cups are placed in the center of the sample rack, fitting 240 positions.

The REAGENTS PLATE is refrigerated in the stand-by position, allowing on board storage of 50 reagents. The multi-point calibration, has a long lasting stability, thanks to the on board storage at a controlled temperature and to special caps which prevent reagents evaporation and exclude any risk of contamination.

A STAT section is dedicated to the introduction of the urgent samples, also bar-code readable.

A LASER PHOTOMETER able to optimize the analytical performances, is employed as optical system reading at a wavelength of 670nm.

POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION of samples, reagents, calibrators and controls is effected by a bar-code reader, centered among the two rotating plates.

The REACTION PLATE heated at 37°C, is capable of holding 120 cuvettes, placed on six removable sectors. Productivity up to 150 tests/hr.

The HANDLING SOFTWARE is extremely advanced, user-friendly and self-explanatory. It includes a multi-level Quality Control, and gives results both in table and graph-format (mean, Standard deviation, C.V., Levey-Jennings curve, ecc.).

The system provides the functions of selfretest of outside range samples and checking of antigen excess. It can be activated/inactivated for each single test. The instrument includes also a bi-directional host interface and several different operating modes (Ser-Host, Host-Query). The instrument, compact both in dimensions as well as in design, includes internal PC and color LCD display.
