Company Profile

About us
PLIVA-Lachema Diagnostika s.r.o. is a modern, promising company that has resumed the traditions of LACHEMA a.s., resp. PLIVA - Lachema a.s. Its product portfolio (based mainly on its own activities in the field of development) is focussed principally on in vitro diagnostic preparations suitable for day-to-day use in clinical biochemistry and microbiological laboratories.

In addition to its activities performed on the traditional markets located in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the company also focuses on commercial, marketing, development and OEM cooperation with partners from the European Union as well as other countries throughout the whole world.

PLIVA - Lachema Diagnostika s.r.o. The Youngest Company with the Longest Tradition on the Market

Year 2005, the first year of existence of PLIVA-Lachema Diagnostika s.r.o., was a year of positive development beyond all expectations and confirmed the fact that segregation of the Diagnostics Division, whose tradition (within the scope of PLIVA-Lachema a.s., formerly Lachema, a state-owned enterprise) commenced in 1960s, into an independent company with its own strategy-creation process had been a correct step.

LAURA 04.10.2007

The LAURA System for objective evaluation of urine samples is an effective solution how to assure quality and standard results of analyses. The device is a semi-quantitative semi-automated machine with the following advantages: it is easy to operate, it has sufficient capacity for routine operation and the option of external connection. Two types of diagnostic strips, which differ in the number of parameters, are intended for use with the device:

HEPTAPHANŽ LAURA

DEKAPHANŽ LAURA

PHAN 04.10.2007

The PHANŽ range comprises diagnostic strips suitable for semiquantative analysis of. They allow for determination of as many as eleven clinically significant analytes (glucose, pH, bilirubin, urobilinogen, proteins, nitrites, SG, WBC, ketones, blood and ascorbic acid (vitamin C)) - on the basis of objective and visual procedures. The PHANŽ diagnostic strips allow for an efficient screening in connection with standard examinations of patients and monitoring of their subsequent treatment. The principal areas in which the PHANŽ strips help to discover initial symptoms are diseases affecting kidneys and the urogenital system, liver diseases as well as metabolic and haemolytic disorders. The principal benefits of the products are simplicity of the process of testing, speed of the testing procedure (results obtained within 1-2 minutes) as well as a high level of diagnostic specificity and sensitivity. The strips are to be used mainly in clinical chemistry laboratories and surgeries of specialized physicians and general practitioners.

BIO-LA-TEST 04.10.2007

The BIO-LA-TESTŽ range of diagnostic kits is to be used for the purpose of analysis of body fluids (blood, urine and cerebrospinal fluid) in clinical biochemistry and haematology laboratories. Determination of levels of diagnostically significant analytes (such as enzymes, metabolites, electrolytes, etc.) represents an important data pertaining to specification of diagnoses as well as monitoring of the treatment process. The BIO-LA-TESTŽ diagnostic kits are based on modern methodological principles (IFCC, DGKCH). They are manufactured mainly in the form of liquid ready-to-use products suitable for use in all common types of automatic analyzers. The diagnostic kits are accompanied by the offer of control and calibration materials.

PLIVA-Lachema Diagnostika company continues on with innovations of packaging and design of its products. From November 2005 on, the BIO-LA-TESTŽ diagnostic kits will be supplied in new primary and secondary packages with new design. Hopefully is this modification going to make your work with our products even more comfortable.

The IMU-LA-TEST range of diagnostic kits (based on the principles of immunoturbidimetry and immunocolorimetry) is to be used for the purpose of determination of specific proteins. This product range is intended to be used mainly in connection with measurerements performed by automatic analyzers.

——————————————————————————–

The products of the MIKRO-LA-TESTŽ range are used for the purpose of reliable, standardized, routine identification of clinically significant bacteria in clinical, food processing and water conservation laboratories. The identification may be performed both automatically (using the MIKROLA system) and visually (using TNW, a comfortable identification programme).

The MIKRO-LA-TESTŽ range of products comprises identification kits, detection strips (used for the purpose of detection of a bacterial enzyme or metabolite) and diagnostic discs (allowing for simple differentiation of bacteria direction in the culture medium) as well as additional devices, agents and tools.
