Company info

Palmedic is an independent company established in the year 2000 when the company acquired the Bandafix® production of International Medical Products (NL), a Cardinal Health company (USA), via a management buy out.

Palmedic provides the European and International markets with high quality medical disposables, especially designed and manufactured for local requirements and OEM customers.

From our office and production facilities in Lichtenvoorde, the Netherlands, international sales is executed through a global network of distributors. The continents of export are: Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, and the Pacific.

Bandafix®, a high quality elastic wide-mesh bandage, was the basis for further growth and development of the company. Today, our product range includes the following product groups:

Bandafix® 1 meter* box

The 1 meter box is a typical retail product and marketed through apothecaries, drugstores, department stores, etc. Various applications and directions for use are clearly indicated on each box. Each individual box contains a handy insert with instructions for use. The 8 sizes available will provide a perfect net bandage for every part of the body.

The advantage of this ready-to-use bandages is that virtually no cutting is required. Bandafix® Ready to Use products are single packed in a handy peel open pe-bag. Each individual bag contains a handy insert with instructions for use.

Available in Helanca® (polyamide) quality.

05.02.11 Enema and irrigation equipment
Enema Tips

Our extensive line of enema tips (colon tips) is used to bring in barium through the patient’s rectum during a lower gastrointestinal examination. (contrast colon examination) The flexible enema tips are olive-shaped and available in various sizes, with or without a silicon balloon or air insufflation. A special paediatric enema tip is also available. Enema tips are available single, or as a complete ready to use set, and are made out of a medical graded Vinyl-Plastisol.
