Nidek Medical Products, Inc. was established in 1986, following the acquisition of the oxygen concentrator division of Union Carbide. Relocated the business to Birmingham, Alabama, USA, the South’s center for medical research and treatment, and resumed production. During the following years we continued the evolution of our oxygen contrator and expanded our product lines to include Aerosol and Sleep Therapy.Since inception, Nidek Medical has grown to supply over 100 countries making us one of the largest manufacturers of respiratory equipment in the world.With such accomplishments comes recognition: A Recipient of the “President’s E Award” for Excellence in outstanding contributions to the increase of U.S. Trade Abroad in conjunction with the “President’s Star Award” for continued Excellence in Exports.
