Patented cup-mouth ended esophageal stents considerably reduce the trauma from stents implanting .Machine-braid stents, comparing to traditional hand-made stents are more flexibility and decreased the possibility of punching.

Radioactive stent’s application is made up of the stent together with introducer, radio-isotopes. Have a CT examination, then build a Three-dimensional image. DIRECTIONS FOR USE 1. Selecting the length of the stent: The stent should be 15 mm longer than the stenosis segment. After it has been settled down, the distal extremity of the stent should be 5 mm lower than the stenosis segment and the proximal extremity should be about 10 mm higher. 2. Selecting the diameter of the stent: Select stents of various diameters according to the patient’s conditions. Select the 12mm stent for the patients in a general way. 3. The operating procedure: Sterilize routinely the 0 type cystoscope, stent, optical fiber and the introducer. Take the local anesthesia or epidural anesthesia to the patient and use the cystoscope to observe the situation of the stenosis. Then select a suitable stent according to the length of the stenotic urethral tract nearby the prostate measured through the cystoscope. Withdraw the cystoscope and insert it into the inner ostium of the introducer which contains the stent. Then insert the introducer into the urethral tract together with the cystoscope and stent. Settle the stent openly on the condition that the proximal end of the stent doesn’t stick out into the bladder and the distal end is not lower than the seminal vesicle. Observe the position of the stent after settling it and can adjust its location with biopsy forceps.
