Mediracer Ltd is a medical technology company based in Oulu, Finland, that specialises in the development of Point of Care (POC) diagnostic testing equipment for ailments of the peripheral nervous system.
Developed in collaboration with clinical neurophysiology specialists, the Mediracer® CTS Test Device is a completely new type of test device for diagnosing carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Clinical tests have verified that the Test Device gives sensitivity of >94% and specificity of >98%. The product received CE approval in 2005 and is now on sale throughout the EU area as well as in those countries of the Middle East and Asia where CE approval is a sufficient requirement.
Mediracer Ltd’s POC product family will be supplemented over the next few years with numerous new products. The Mediracer product and service concept makes expert services easily available to individual healthcare units throughout the world.
