About Us…
Medinvents was established in 2004 to create medical biopsy devices that have never been built before but were badly needed by the medical community. In particular, affordable high quality large core biopsy instruments would give every women access to an early detection of breast cancer. Now the range of biopsy instruments covers almost all soft tissues of the human body. More physicians find their satisfaction in the services Medinvents offers.

The biopsy instruments originated after careful evaluation of patients’ needs and the advices of medical doctors. The research is done in various universities and medical centers throughout Europe and the US.

Medinvents obtained ISO 9001-2000 and 13485 certification early 2006. All products are CE and FDA approved.

All our programs are aimed at improving biopsy technologies for all soft tissues to detect cancer at the very earliest stages, in particular for women’s health. We welcome all imput from researchers in the field in the hope to realise their idea’s. In addition, we like to offer all our help to those physicians who like to specialize in soft tissue biopsy techniques.

Spirotome Jumbo Single Use 17.10.2007

The Spirotome Jumbo Single Use set is sterile on delivery and is designed to take large core (8 to 10 Gauge) macro- biopsies from virtually every soft tissue, in particular from the breast and lymph nodes. The receiving needle has a valve mechanism to create reversible vacuum in the helix during penetration, cutting and collection. The set is available in 3 lengths : 60, 80 and 100 mm.
