Company Profile
Medinet SpA, which is part of GiBi Bernucci Group, is leader in medical device field and operates both in Italy and abroad. Thanks to its products and services has customers like 3M, Lamprecht, Smith&Nephew, Beiersdorf, Bayer, Zambon… In 1946 the Bernucci siblings found in Milan the “Enzo Bernucci and Brothers” that will start an activity which will be continued by the next generations.
In 1970, the second generation enters and changes the company in MEDINET SpA with a capital completely subscribed by the present company.
In 1972 Medinet begins food and medical net production, increasing the number of insiders and in 1974 begins also the marketing of medical articles, becoming the only Italian distributor for medical line “Gillette” and for “Gurit Worbla Switzerland”: the market, traditionally face to the export, was developed also in Italy with agents operating in hospital circles.
In 1976 the articles are distributed also to the Pharmacies, in order to diffuse both own production and other products.
In the 80’s the company policy was changed with the acquisition of distributor, always in the hospital circles, and using no more agents.
In the 90’s Medinet creates a veterinary division, which has today Bayer like customer and main distributor, not only for Italy but also for other countries and a respiratory rehabilitation division, which is currently in phase of development.
Last diversification is the electromedical division, still in phase of organization for the continuous adaptations to the real demands for the market.
The productive unit is placed in Fino Mornasco (CO), where on beyond 4.500 mq there’s a shed of approximately 2.500 mq. The Head Office is located in Milan.
Since 2000 Medinet carries out its activity in the respect of dictates of a Quality System certified by a credited Agency.
