Spiro2000 is designed to meet with the demanding requirements of professional lung function testing. The user interface is graphical, and it emulates familiar windows environment. The software is easy to install as it will configure automatically number of key settings, such as the serial port. The operation is simple including patient data entry, measurement selection, test recording and data comparison. The open database connectivity (ODBC) makes it simple to communicate with other databases, such as hospital information systems. Spiro2000 works well on stand-alone system as well as in local area network. The final report can be modified to meet the needs of the physician. HTML format of the final report allows the operator to email the results to a recipient, who can view the results with a standard browser program. Comments can be added and emailed to the consulting physician with ease. System calibration can be verified with calibration log data making the system ideal for quality control.
Flexibility is built into the program. Parameters, reporting format, dimensions and predicted values can be selected by the operator making it simple to use the software in clinics, hospitals and doctors’ offices. Additional features include BTPS correction and the best test criteria selection. Spiro2000 is compatible with standard and laptop computers using MS Windows.

Spirometry Network
Spiro2000 can be operated in a local area network. In fact it is presently the only spirometer in its segment with this feature without extra charge. The operator can add spirometer measurement capacity. The results can be stored with centralized patient records.
Localized reference values
Spiro2000 includes several local predicted values; presently ten different sets and easy to add more. The operator can select the proper reference, which will lead to better diagnosis.

SpiroSafe is cost effective to use. Ergonomic design makes it easy to use by adults as well as children. Simple Luer locking device makes it easy and fast to attach and remove. SpiroSafe can be discarded after the patient has completed the spirometric session. The material of SpiroSafe is polyethylene and it can be disposed with incineration without toxic emissions.
The unique feature of SpiroSafe is that it will eliminate patient to patient contamination because it is designed as a single patient device. It provides the best protection for the patient, for the instrument and for the operator.
