MEDICON eG was founded in 1941 through the merger of 6 companies specialising in the production of surgical tools. Over 20,000 items are currently produced at 16 MEDICON production facilities in the Tuttlingen region where the emphasis is very much on a traditional approach. MEDICON and its subsidiaries have a 400 employee-strong workforce.

High-quality MEDICON products are sold in over 120 countries world-wide. Every product is made in Germany.

As a company certified in accordance with DIN ISO 9001/ DIN EN 46001 and MDD 93/42 EEC, Medicon eG guarantees consistently high quality in terms of product design, development and manufacture in all production processes. Top priority is given to quality in all sectors of the company.

Bandage scissors, plaster saws, plaster knives and retractor 02.11.2007

In addition to various electrical plaster saws with accessories, MEDICON has an extensive range of bandage scissors, plaster knives and -retractors for post-operative care.

Apart from the most commonly used bandage scissors, MEDICON manufactures Lister bandage scissors with the unique edges. Other speciality products include the Lister bandage scissors with large ring and the Bruns plaster scissors. This is particularly suitable for separating heavy bandages and also for cutting stable clothing.

The OSCILLO COMPACT electrical plaster saw is characterised primarily by its ease of use. The plaster saw is very robust and quiet (62 db). MEDICON accessories for the OSCILLO COMPACT plaster saw include the highly efficient OSCI-CLEAN dust aspirator. The latter can be operated at two speeds (600 and 1000 W).

In addition to the easy to use OSCILLO COMPACT saw, MEDICON offers the electrical OSCILLO IV plaster saw. This has a robust construction, is highly effective during prolonged use, has an integral protection device to guard against overloading and operates with little vibration. Efficient operation is guaranteed even with prolonged use.
