RHEAN-POLY rheograph-polyanalyser (impedance plethysmogrph) 06.11.2007
RHEAN-POLY Rheograph-Polyanalyser for complex assessment of blood circulation is produced in 4 modifications. It records and analyzes 6-channel rheographic data (impedance plethysmograms) and 6-channel polygraphic inputs including ECG, EMG, BP, TEMP (temperature), PPG (photoplethysmogram), GSR (galvanic skin response), SCG (seismocardiogram) and PG (pneumogram), in any combination.
Windows’-based software of “RHEAN-POLY” assesses peripheral, cerebral, and inner organs’ blood flow and central haemodynamics (using impedance cardiography). It allows the estimation of cardiac homeostatic function and the type of haemodynamics and identification of abnormal and compensated levels of the cardiovascular system by analyzing responses of circulatory indices to specific stimuli. The system supports real-time monitoring of haemodynamic indices, investigation of adaptational cardiovascular reactions, and automatic analysis and interpretation of venous blood flow, pulsatile blood filling and elastico-tonic features of the arteries of different size. Additional battery supply and communication interfaces are provided, including NoteBook PC interface via USB port.
The polyanalyser supports a wide range of clinical and research studies and rehabilitative biofeedback procedures.

ENCEPHALAN-VIDEO (portable set) 06.11.2007
Portable set “ENCEPHALAN - Video” is compact, it can easily be transported by one person and allows carrying out full value long-term EEG-monitoring at the patient’s location: in an ordinary ward or at home, in the natural and friendly conditions. Portable set can perform almost all the functions of the Stationary set. The only difference is the use of one video camera with a tripod and portable computer (Notebook).
The environment which is friendly for a patient reduces the stress level and increases objectivity of the study. This works the most effectively while conducting EEG-monitoring of not transportable patients, children or if confidentiality is required. The studies in friendly conditions are of great importance when diagnosing some obscured types of epilepsy.
The software of both sets allows making video clip or ÑD/DVD with the study data. The special viewer program that allows data scan with the help of any PC is also recorded on the same disk (similarly to «EEGVue to Go» Nicolet ).
The same data format is used both for a portable Electroencephalograph ENCEPHALAN-EEGR-19/26 and for Electroencephalographs ENCEPHALAN-131-03. That feature allows using all software potentialities while analyzing and processing the results of EEG-studies.
ENCEPHALAN-VIDEO (stationary set) 06.11.2007
Stationary set “ENCEPHALAN - Video” is designed for EEG-videomonitoring using two full colour-video cameras (general view and near-field zone) in a ward with an area of up to 30 m2. At night time highly sensitive video camera is used. Audio record is made in the patient’s ward and in medical staff’s room. Event marks from 3 markers can be stored.
The accurate timing of all data streams (EEG, video, audio and marks) ensures the correct presentation of information about patient’s state with the help of real-time computer workstation and additional workstation for data processing.
Methodical basis and software include tools for quick searching of epiphenomena, video or EEG- data fragments, their autoview at different speeds (speeded up, slowed-down review, page scrolling and freeze-frame) and documenting.
Data back up and restore options guarantee easy and safe carring out of studies.

ENCEPHALAN-PSG 06.11.2007
The program “ENCEPHALAN-PSG” for polysomnographic studies harmonically complements the capabilities of the Portable Electroencephalograph and allows using it to diagnose sleep and wakefulness disturbance, respiratory impairment (apnea syndrome, snoring), to estimate the state of central nervous and cardiovascular systems.
This program allows processing of patient’s sleep record obtained from EEG-videomonitoring (stationary or portable variant), and also from ambulatory monitoring of the main recordable parameters (EEG, EMG, EOG, ECG, respiration and position of a patient’s body).
The use of digital compander of polygraphic channels significantly enlarges the set of recording signals for carrying out full value independent PSG-studies.
The algorithms of automatic search of nonstationarities according to input criteria and previously defined different fragments for analysis are realized. The dynamics of necessary calculated indices (for example, index of sleep spindles, index of EEG slow waves and alpha-index, eyeballs movements, muscles tone, respiration parameters, etc.) is represented in real time and postreal time by means of trend-diagrams.
Hypnogram is made with the help of results of visual and quantitative data analysis and with the help of calculated indices dynamics analysis.
The results of PSG-study are hypnogram, report on sleep statistics, diagram of sleep stages and the description of a study with medical decision.

REHACOR biofeedback systems for rehabilitation and training 06.11.2007
Rehabilitative biofeedback procedures allow a patient to control his or her physiological functions or mental state using specific sets of psychological variables calculated from polygraphical data such as electroencephalogram (EEG), electromyogram (EMG), electrocardiogram (ECG), skin galvanic response (SGR), temperature (TEMP), respiration (RESP), etc. Now/ biofeedback variables also include photoplethysmogram (PPG) and impedance plethysmogram (RHEO) data which enable a fine biofeedback control of the blood circulation parameters.
A patient can perceive and control target variables using such biofeedback instruments as visual images, musical fragments, computer games, diagrams and dial presented by the patient station multimedia and/or using complex acoustic and sensory stimuli delivered by the Acoustic Sensory Chair, while the operator can monitor the patient’s success and current data on the operator station which enables the operative control of a biofeedback procedure.
An expandable Library of BFB procedures contains standard and user-defined scenarios of biofeedback procedures aimed at drugless recovering the body functions at abnormal or stress conditions, improving the nervous function control, removing the manifestations of hyperactivity or attention deficit syndrome, correcting arterial pressure, removing abnormal habits and dependences, rehabilitating post-stroke patients, treating headaches and movement disorders, enhancing adaptive capacities of the body or harmonizing the patient’s psychoemotional sphere. Biofeedback procedures can also be used for autogenic training and relaxation sessions in the occupational healthcare centers.
Diagnostic stress tests of the body functions based on specific sets of polygraphical indices can be efficiently performed using a Rehacor system. Using the stress tests considerably enhances both control and efficiency of psychophysiological rehabilitation procedures.
Optional 8-channel EEG/EP studies (including MMN and cognitive P300 and CNV tests). Optional rheoencephalographic and rheographic studies with assessment of systemic hemodynamics, central hemodynamics, pulsatile blood filling, vascular tonus, venous blood flow and the cardiac rhythm analysis (depending on version/modification of a patient box).

ENCEPHALAN-EEGR-19/26 06.11.2007
Compactness and little weight of the patient’s block, reliable back up data storage on a CompactFlash Card and wireless transfer of information to the PC guarantee effective use of the Electroencephalograph as a neuromonitor under the reanimation conditions and in intensive care wards.
High level of noise-immunity for the other equipment, for example, artificial pulmonary ventilator, coagulator, etc. is guaranteed
The main neuromonitor can be placed at a distance of up to 6 meters from the place of registration, and it easily allows carrying out of necessary reanimation activities and taking care of a patient. Distant access to a neuromonitior via network for additional control and observation is also possible.
Wireless stimulation block allows caring out tests and trials (photic-, auditory- and electrostimulation) for patient’s state estimation, for example, to estimate the depth of coma or to state brain death.
Completely synchronous EEG-video monitoring is available, if necessary.
Native neurophysiological data, current values and trends of monitored signals are conveniently represented on ergonomic LCD for the purpose of effective neuromonitioring.
Long-term ambulatory EEG-monitoring in comfortable harness in combination with long-term EEG recording in a special ward or at patient’s location completely synchronized with video surveillance data are ‘gold standard’ for differential diagnoses of epilepsy type.
