Medica” Joint-Stock Company – Sandanski was founded in 1971 when the plant for surgical dressing materials started its work. Thereafter, the company has been an integral part of the Bulgarian pharmaceutical industry, initially within the “Pharmachim” Trade and Manufacturing Corporation and, since 1991, as an independent unit.
Its large-scale manufacturing facilities and the professional, organizational and technological experience accumulated during the years, enabled the enterprise to gain significant positions on the European market, completely meeting the demand of the domestic market as well.
The company continuously innovates, updates and expands its capacity and facilities in the area of its specialization: surgical dressing and sanitary-hygienic materials, finished pharmaceuticals, stomatological and microalgal products, and therapeutic shampoos.

Manufactured from absorbent gauze in compliance with Eur.Ph.93.

Presentation
Gauze bandages are available in any lengths. With width as required between 5 and 10 cm.

Knitted bandages 08.11.2007

100% cotton yarn, bleached without chlorine. Uses in medicine as a dressing material. The special knitting stitch makes the bandage very strong but allows the wound “to breathe”. Convenient for use and comfortable for the skin. Applicable as fixing bandage

Widths – 5; 7; 8; 10 cm, Lengths – 500; 1000 cm. Single rolls packaged in polypropylene foil.

Woven bandages 08.11.2007

Woven of 100% cotton yarn leno weave with various spacing of warp and woof. Ideal bandages in medical practice. The woven bandage is highly absorbent. The selvage of the bandage prevents the cotton filaments from unraveling. It is applicable as a fixing bandage.
