Exsupad® absorbent wound compress sterile 19.09.2007
Indication/application
This absorbent dressing is most suitable for highly exudating wounds. The dressing is soft and supple, therefore making it easy to fix to the wound and offer good padding. Moreover it protects the wound thanks to it’s special outer layer that is easy and painless to remove, therefore not disturbing the healing process. Accumulating wound exudate is taken away from the wound due to Exupads highly absorbent capacity; exudate is quickly removed and held fast. The “wrong” side of the dressing has a special exudate repeling layer to protect clothing and bedding; giving patients peace of mind. The blue colour of this layer is easily distinguishable, in order to prevent inappropriate use. The white side of the dressing is used against the wound. The dressing can be best attached using an adhesive plaster/tape.
Productinformation
four sided closed dressing with a non-adherent non-woven outer layer
the filling is made of 100% cotton hydrophilic (absorbent) white cotton wool
the “wrong” side of the dressing is covered with a blue hydrofobe (exudate repelling but beathable) non-woven layer, with the sides stitched to make the dressing stable
also available in bulk non-sterile version
gamma sterilized

Kliniderm® Film Xtrata eXtra skinfriendly film dressing 19.09.2007
Indication/application
Kliniderm Film Xtrata is an extra skinfriendly wound-fixation film, due to the specially designed lipo-gel adhesive layer. The special Xtrata lipo-gel adhesive easily spreads over the skin surface, which results in a larger contactlayer so that the film needs a less stronger adhesive for a direct and strong fixation. The skin is hardly damaged when the film is removed. Above that the adhesive is very permeable. The wound environment is in balance which prevents the skin from maceration and prevents the change on bacterial growth. The fluidness of the lipo-gel and the permeability of it result in this unique and very skinfriendly adhesive layer.
Kliniderm Film Xtrata transparent film dressing is used for dry wounds or wounds with limited fluid such as bruces, first degree burns, donorsites, post operative wounds or as a protection for the sensitive skin. Because the film is transparent you can see the woundhealing proces. The Kliniderm Film Xtrata is very suitable as waterproof, secundairy dressing and for the fixation of IV canula’s and central lines. The Kliniderm Film Xtrata Roll is an unsterile film on a roll, suitable for the waterproof fixation of wounddressings and different types of lines.
The Kliniderm Xtrata films are very suitable for the sensitive skin of baby’s, eldery people, oncology patients and dialysis patients.
Productinformation
excellent adhesive strength
protection of the skin by the lipo-gel adhesive layer
painfree removal
very minimal removal of stratum corneum

high permeability (MVTR 2000 g/m2/24h)
very flexible and elastic for easy application around joints
