The considerable growth experienced since inception lead to the forming of a separate company, Makromed Manufacturing (Pty) Ltd, which specializes in the development and manufacture of in vitro diagnostic tests.

Today we are internationally recognized as a manufacturer and exporter of quality urine reagent strips, certified to conform to the strict international requirements for human and veterinary diagnostics. Makro Medical and Makromed Manufacturing are both certified by DQS Germany according to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485 standards.
