History

1987

The students Loy and Hutz establish Loy & Hutz GbR in Giessen, Germany. The company’s goal is to market hardware and software. The company develops maintenance software for technical medical equipment in hospitals.

1993

Over 100 hospitals are using the medical equipment maintenance software. New software is offered specifically for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems (HVAC). The marketing of hardware is discontinued. The company transforms into a commercial company.

1995

The Loy & Hutz headquarters is relocated to Freiburg, Germany. Software for the management of areas is developed.

1998

The new software visual FM™ is released for Maintenance, Object and Facility Management. The new concept includes the flexible and rapid modification of the software to meet virtually any customer’s requirements.

2000

Loy & Hutz becomes a limited company.

Today

Over 5000 instances of visual FM are in use in different configurations covering the most varied application areas (Local Authorities, Industry, Hospitals and Customer Services etc.).
