Textiles with medical functions
The brand LINDNER socks is well known for quality and function of it‘s highest level. This year LINDNER launched in the health collection a new development, which perfectly fits the needs of diabetics. In additional to the usual features of socks for diabetics – hand linked toe, soft welt, etc. – these products are with new functions. In coopertion with hospitals, Prof. Dr. Wollina of Dresden, the Deutsche BKK and biochemical institutes like proDerm, Fresenius, Hohenstein, TITV and TITK we developed a patented Silver integrated Cotton yarn and different socks suitable for diabetics. The ÖkoTex certificated products diasoft, silversoft and silversoft protection will be shown for the first time on the Orthopädie + Reha-Technik in Leipzig. Beside wearing, washing and rubbing tests dermatologists made also different tests and all with best results. Together with all these scientists we could reduce the Silver dosage to an optimum. Even after 80 (!) washing cycles we still have the function of the Silver. Now we have also the evidence that ionized Silver is especially effective and fast in it’s effect. This is a big advantage in comparison to other products made of pure Silver.
Beside the products suitable for diabetics LINDNER will also show other successful products of the health collection like bandages, supporting socks and a lot of Angora products.
