StatusCup Plus is a rapid diagnostic test for drugs of abuse in urine Samples are collected in the StatusCup, which seperates the specimen in two distinct chambers. One portion of the specimen will be used during the initial screen, while another portion will be reserved if a patient comes up positive and further confirmation testing at a reference laboratory is needed.
This design meets the proposed Federal workplace guidelines requiring split specimen collection and testing. While there may be many drug testing cups out there, very few adhere to this federal guideline!
Within minutes of dipping the Status Stik test device into the first chamber, a line will develop on the test card next to the name of the drug if the specimen is negative. If a line fails to develop within 5 to 10 minutes, the test is interpreted as positive for that particular drug.
The Status Cup Plus is conveniently available in a flexible menu of 2, 3, 4, 5,and 6, 8, 9, and 10 panel tests
