About us
Life Science Austria Vienna Region (LISA VR) is the central life sciences consultancy and coordination point in the Vienna region, and supports researchers and entrepreneurs on their way to a successful future. LISA VR provides consultancy for business start-ups, preparation of business plans, and financing. It offers assistance in applying to national and regional funding programs and helps open up access to private financing.
LISA VR is a joint initiative of the Austrian Republic, represented by Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH (aws), which administers the nationwide BMWA funding program Life Science Austria (LISA), and the City of Vienna’s Centre for Innovation and Technology (ZIT). LISA VR is represented by an executive board: Michaela Fritz and Eva Czernohorszky.
LISA VR encourages the health, prosperity and continuing growth of the Vienna region as a location for the life sciences. In addition to consultancy and financing, the centre’s international activities, networking and training play a central role.
