What is it ?
BLOODCARE products belong to the group of local haemostats with the haemostatic effect based on the oxidised cellulose features, which have been known and commercially world-wide used for more than 50 years. The very first oxidised-cellulose based preparations were developed and used by armed forces in particular, however not only for its haemostatic effect but also for the healing impact.

What is it used for?
Excellent haemostatic agent to professionally arrest capillary bleeding, or bleeding from parenchymatous organs and resection areas at surgical procedures.

COLLAGEN-BASED HAEMOSTAT
WOUND HEALING DRESSING
HYPRO-SORB is a sterile atelo-collagen based haemostat. It is made from highly purified bio-polymer, collagen, whereas telopeptids are avoided. It is a pure 99,9 % crystal atelo-collagen, native, in a from of woven felt.
HYPRO-SORB is a non-irritating, absorbable cover dressing to be used for treatment of non-responding wounds, decubitus, leg ulcers, burns of class II, further for treatment of superficial dermis imperfections and as a cover layer after skin graft.
it is used as haemostyptics in surgery, dentistry and traumatology; as a biological dressing in treatment of problematic and chronic dermal wounds, burnings, leg ulcers and for prevention and healing of dermal decubitus; as a dermal coat in plastic surgery
the haemostasis is achieved within 2 - 6 minutes after application
If required, it could be left in the wound after surgery. The preparation is absorbed by itself within 2 - 4 weeks.
