Founded in 1978 in Germany BHT is one of the acknowledged market leaders in the design of innovative washer-disinfectors (WD) for hospitals, laboratories and pharmaceutical fields.

Founded in 1978 in Germany BHT is one of the acknowledged market leaders in the design of innovative washer-disinfectors (WD) for hospitals, laboratories and pharmaceutical fields.

The range of products extends from small under-the-counter WDs, to medium and big
sized single cabin machines to large scale multi-chamber tunnel washer-disinfectors.
These machines are used to clean, disinfect and dry lab glassware, surgical instruments,
MIS instruments, rigid & flexible endoscopes, anaesthetic material, including corrugated
hoses, all kinds of containers, bottles, utensils and, and, and…

To load these items into a machine for maximum exposure and safety sometimes
requires specifically designed loading racks and baskets which BHT manufactures
according to customer requirements.

During the past 25 years BHT engineers have developed more than 40 patents from
dosing control systems (flow meter) to special racks for hoses (ROTO system).
The aim has always been to find the best way to solve a problem, to serve a customer.

Seeing the great potential of BHT, Mr. Zwingenberger decided in 1998 to purchase the
company as an addition to his other companies. Dr. Annecke, the experienced former
manager of the Siemens Dental Division was introduced as the new Managing Director.
Since that time, and also due to the synergistic effects especially with the sister company SciCan in Canada and their extensive worldwide network of agents, BHT was able to
intensify their export business considerably.

In 2002 the time was right to go into a new direction: the pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Zwingenberger took the opportunity to set up a new enterprise together with
a team of professionals mostly originating from the former Netzsch company and
headed by Mr. Pfeifer : BHT-Pharma.

Now the two BHT companies BHT-Hygienetechnik and BHT-Pharma have put their
strengths together to create washing systems for the pharmaceutical industry
worldwide.

The INNOVA® L1 of BHT Hygienetechnik provides analytically cleaning quality of all laboratory glass wasre. Next to the INNOVA® L3 and INNOVA® L4 an approved and very
reasonable technology of washing and disinfecting of
laboratory glass ware is available now.

INNOVA® L4 12.09.2007

The INNOVA® L4 offers a suitable washing program for
each impurity. The up to date micro processeor controller
provides maximum flexibility. A two door model is avaible
for clean room concepts.
The INNOVA® L4 can be equipped with an integrated printer for documentation of the cycles to fulfil the guidelines of the GLP.

INNOVA® L5 12.09.2007

The INNOVA® L5 und L5-ISO offer a larger capacity
compared to the Innova INNOVA® L4 and have automatic
sliding doors. Available as single and double door unit.
