About us

Beldico is a Belgian company with +/- 90 employees, active in the production of high technological medical single use equipments.
Our plant covers 4800 m2 and has its own moulding site, ETO sterilisation as well as 600 m2 clean room.

Our products are being used in the following domains :

Cardiovascular surgery : cardioplegia sets, hemoconcentrators, extra-corporal circulation sets with or without oxygenator ;
Cardiology : draping sets, angiography sets, radiology sets, different other sets ;
Nursing : manifolds, extension lines, arthroscopy sets, burettes, … ;
Dialysis : arterial and venous plasmaferesis sets, accessories for dialysis ;
Baby-bottles : bottles, nipples, stoppers, milk cups, feeding sets ;
Catheters : dialysis catheters (bi- and unipunction), y-canules.
One of the characteristical distincting features of Beldico is its capability to produce most of its products “custom made”, following the specific demands of the medical personnel.

Haemodialysis cannulae for fistule 19.09.2007

Safe & comfortable

Using a soft, F.E.P. (fluorinated Ethylene-Propylene) cannula rather than a stiff, sharp needle during dialysis treatment eliminates the danger of ‘cut out’ (extravasation) and internal fistula damage.
The lancet point needle and tapered tip assists insertions and minimises pain.
The cannula is kink resistant and highly biocompatible.
Radio opaque cannula enables viewing under X-ray.
The cannula provides greater patient comfort and freedom of movement.
By removing the ‘cut-out’ risk, nursing supervision is eased.
Due to the shape of the cannula tape-fixation is easy.
Double or single needle technique
Straight single channel version for ‘double needle’ technique.
‘Y’ shaped dual channel version for ’single needle’ technique.
Both versions available in a range of sizes (13g-16g).
All cannulae have specially tapered tips.
All have side holes.
Single piece body moulding
Smooth internal lumen without protrusions or joints reduces heamolysis and the risk of clotting.
Manufactured from biologically safe polyuretane elastomer.
No risk of disassembly of components

Easy insertion
Precision formed needle and an ergonomic cannula tip is designed to give optimum skin/vessel penetration, reducing the risk of vessel trauma.
Color coded needle-to-hub clip, which prevents the needle retracting during insertion.
Smooth, comfortable needle grip.
Clear material needle hub with hydrophobic vents allows rapid visual confirmation of flashback.
Flexible clamping-off section
The body is provided with a thin walled section to enable shut-off, under finger or clamp pressure, during the procedure.
Enables connection to blood lines without blood spillage.
Facility to attach syringe if required.
Integral luer lock connectors
Facilitates connection to all blood lines
Reduces risk of disconnection.

- The NIPPLE PROTECTOR in polypropylene and equipped with a CLICKSYSTEM guarantees a perfect protection and can also be used as a MILK CUP.
- The new nipples are made of a (LATEX-FREE) THERMAL PLASTIC used in the medical and food industry.
- The ECONOMICALADVANTAGE is crystal clear.
