Batist s.r.o. is the leading producer and distributor of medical and hygienic products in the Czech Republic.

The company was established in 1992, first specializing in producing gauze bandage material. In the following years, fixation and elastic bandages enriched the production program, as did hygienic products, cellulose wadding, and other groups of medical products. The company invested into its own development and opened a modernized factory and distribution center in Èervený Kostelec in Eastern Bohemia in 1998. Clean rooms for the production of sterile medical products are a part of the factory.

As of 2003, a quality management system according to EN ISO 9001:2000 and EN ISO 13488:2000 norms has been implemented in all activities of the company, together with certification by the renowned Germany company TÜV Rheinland Group. The products of Batist are also certified with the CE quality mark awarded by the TÜV Rheinland Group.

Batist provides quality services and fulfills its long-term business goals so as to be a prosperous and stable partner for a large portfolio of clients at home and on the European medical market.

The complete bandage is a sterile bandage from a hydrophilic roller with a properly fixed compress. The compress is made from non-woven fabric.

Navel Bandage

The Navel Bandage is made from a highly elastic roller with a stretchiness of ca 160%, a smooth cellular structure, and with a fixed string on the one end to wind it around the newborn. The roller is characterized by a very good breathability and a pleasant wearing due to the use of a great number of natural cotton fibres. It is supplied in the size 8cm x 2m in a not sterile form and every single piece is packed individually.

Knitted Bandages - sterile

Knitted hydrophilic rollers for a wide range of use in the health care. The quality staple rayon gives them an important softness, absorbency and breathability. They are knitted in a width that ensure a selvedge and not friable edge. The roller is packed to the quality sterilizing paper/foil pack that allows checking the package content with the naked eye, the expiration date is 3 years. The product is certified with CE mark.
