Company Profile

ATYS Medical, Doppler and high resolution ultrasound scanner
Atys Medical is the French leader of:
Transcranial Doppler devices
Peripheral Doppler devices
Photo & pneumo plethysmography devices
Pocket Doppler devices
Non invasive cardiac output monitors
High resolution ultrasound scanner for dermatology.

At Medica, Atys is proud to present its new range of transcranial Doppler devices fitted with a fully digital technology and M-mode display.

Atys is also proud to present its high frequency (25 MHz) ultrasound scanner for skin imaging.

The Doppler devices are used in a lot of branches of medicine to measure blood flow conditions in the vessels and evaluate haemodynamics. These branches of medicine include: angiology, phlebology, radiology, cardio-vascular surgery, neurology, anesthesiology, intensive cares.

The high frequency ultrasound scanner is dedicated to dermatological marketplace (dermatology and cosmetics).

WAKIe:

Portable transcranial Doppler with a large display

LOOKI:

Transcranial Doppler with unique outer architecture for optimized operator comfort

Transoesophageal Doppler cardiac output 30.08.2007

WAKIe TO is a transoesophageal Doppler cardiac output monitor that has been especially designed for anaesthetists and intensivists. It is user-friendly, quickly operational and provides immediately clear and real time data about the patient’s cardiac output and hemodynamics.

Very easy (as a gastric tube)

Into the lower oesophagus, in front of the descending aorta

In the region of T5-T6 thoracic vertebrae

To a depth of 35 to 40 cm from dental arch
Reusable probe

Measurement of the blood velocity in the descending aorta.

Cardiac output is derived from the velocity waveform and the patient’s parameters (age, weight and height).

DERMCUP 25.10.2007

Specially developed for non invasive applications in dermatology, Dermcup is a compact imaging unit that provides a real time B-mode image thus enabling the assessment of anatomical structures in the dermis with a spatial resolution down to 30 microns.
Since the DERMCUP allows the non invasice analysis and measurement of skin lesions, in the case of melanomas, the excison can be achieved with the optimized margins during the first surgical intervention.
Other applications include diagnosis and follow up of basal cell carcinoma, psoriasis, scleroderma, as well as quantification of wound healing.
