ADRIA MEDICAL S.r.l.
ADRIA S.r.l. is a well-established italian-based company founded in 1994. ADRIA’s primary mission is to provide high quality health care products and cost-effective solutions to distributors in order to enhance the quality of patient care.

Initial manufacturing and distribution (1994-1998) had been conducted with a modern facility in Bologna (Italy) and had concerned only intermittent catheters. As a result, for over 4 years ADRIA had been developing innovative solution for leading companies operating in health care’s competitive market. In 1998 ADRIA began manufacturing medical disposables needles for biopsy. Today’s product range includes disposable tools for Radiology, Clinical Oncology/Hematology, Urology and Home Care sold directly to hospitals locally or worldwide through distributors. In fact, there are three major products categories manufactured by ADRIA:

1) Biopsy Needles
2) Drainage Catheters
3) Intermittent Catheters

Each of ADRIA’s employees plays a critical role in developing better products from basic concepts to their commercialization. Project teams are arranged between people with strong entrepreneurial and technical skills, capable to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Adriastone

Adristone is specially designed for treatment of ureter

stones.

Its excellent flexibility in conjunction with its kink

resistant material guarantees an atraumatic access.

The retrieval of the stones results very easy thanks to

helical and round shape of the wires.

Hysterosalpingography

This catheter allows an easy and atraumatic

injection of saline solution into the uterus during

trans-vaginal echography.

The special shape of the balloon has been designed

to avoid saline solution’s reflux and to perform an

appropriate dilation.

The balloon is produced in Latex to prevent the

risk of allergies.

Nephrostomy High Pressure

This catheter is designed for the dilatation of nephrostomy

tract.

It guarantees an easy placement of the working sheath.

Sample Master II

Sample Master II is a spring loaded biopsy needle

whch offers 3 notch sizes - 7 mm, 14 mm, 20 mm -

providing precision in every situation.

Sample Master II guarantees an easy performance

thanks to its light weight and to the possibility of

executing the operation with one hand.

The sharp, bevelled tip allows a quick and

atraumatic penetration while the sharp cutting

edge of the cannula guarantees intact core

samples.

Galactography Set

This single-use, product is used for the injection

of the contrast media into the mammary glands.

The set includes:

- A 27gauge curved tip cannula with transparent

luer lock.

- A 200mm polyethylene tube with outer

diameter 1.25mm and inner diameter 0.75mm.

- Round dilators with outer diameter 0.25mm

and 0.30mm (order code 62027).

Hysto-One

HYSTO-ONE

Fully automatic reusable biopsy device

The HYSTO-ONE, fully automatic reusable biopsy device,

guarantees excellent histological samples thanks to its

powerful firing mechanism and split second firing

sequence.

Trauma to organ tissue is greatly minimized while

reducing the probability of needle deflection.

The sample is easily retrieved without having to remove

the needle from the device.

MN

The MN, manual guillotine needle, is

specifically designed for complete and abundant

histological sampling with manual

manipulation.

The user can choose to limit sample depth to

either 10mm, or 17mm by moving the depth

limiter.

ultrasound imaging.

Paracentesis kit

This single-use, retractable tip needle is

specifically designed to obtain safe drainage

thanks to the possibility to avoid the most

sensitive tissue.
