ACL GmbH headquartered in Leipzig was set up in 1997 and has made a name for itself as a manufacturer of compact computer systems and displays for operating theatres and intensive-care wards. The robust ACL OP-PC has maximum system performance combined with minimum dimensions. The modular system design and the wide variety of upgrade options allow the client to use the equipment for a wide range of applications in medicine such as documentation purposes, X-ray imaging and video displaying or as a terminal for clinical information systems. They presently feature ACL OP-PC and ACL MD (medical display) with screen diagonals ranging from 15″ to 21.3″.

The ACL MD-21RC bietet Bilddarstellung in Befundungsqualität für Farbbilder und monochrome Darstellungen. Er ist damit prädestiniert für MRI, PET, CT- Bilder und 3D-Rendering. Er besitzt sechs benutzerdefnierbare Modi, jedes mit voneinander unabhängigen Einstellungen für Helligkeit und Gamma, einschließlich von zwei DICOM Modi.

Starting now, the legendary ACL OP-PC series is being supplemented with new models equipped with Intel® Core™2 Duo Processors at 1.6 to 2.1 GHz clock frequencies. And they can be equipped with RAM to boost their 1 GB (previously the maximum) to 4 GB. What’s more, the internal hard discs can now be upgraded to capacities of 400 GB.
All of the new ACL OP-PCs have not only the interfaces known from its predecessors, but also a PCI Express Bus and as much as 3 Gigabit LAN ports as optional equipment. The ACL OP-PCs with an Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor feature more than twice the performance for multitasking as the models with the previous Intel® processors. That means you profit both from the high-performance characteristics of a state-of-the-art dualcore processor and the benefits of a high-performance computer especially engineered for medical purposes.
All ACL OP-PCs are designed without a fan and completely self-contained, meaning you can easily disinfect them by wiping. Beyond this, you can use them right at the bedside due to its DIN EN 60601-1, DIN EN 60601-1-1 and DIN EN 60601-1-2 conformity.
